The Crescent Park Looff Carousel is a wooden carousel in East Providence, Rhode Island. It was built in 1922 and it is currently located on Crescent Avenue at the Crescent Park, near the Seekonk River. The Crescent Park Looff Carousel has a total of 44 horses that are “running” to the music.

The Crescent Park Looff Carousel opened in 1911 and is the only surviving carousel of that era in all of Rhode Island. The Crescent Park Looff Carousel is a beautiful, hand-carved wooden carousel with 28 animals on it. It has been designated by the East Providence Historical Society as an historical site because it is one of the few remaining examples in this country of an early 20th century amusement park attraction.

The Crescent Park Looff Carousel is an old-fashioned carousel in East Providence, Rhode Island. It has been around since 1894 and was built by Charles I.D. Looff; it features a double row of horses that move up and down as the carousel goes around, with hand-carved wooden animals including lions, giraffes, tigers, zebras and more!
